Week 21 - Engage Super League 2011 - Start at 20:00UK!

A game from round 21: Warrington v Huddersfield at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.
 Huddersfield Giants Head Coach Nathan Brown spoke this week as his side prepare to travel to the Halliwell Jones Stadium on Friday (8pm) to face off against Warrington Wolves.

The Giants have the wood over Tony Smith's outfit in recent times with three consecutive victories, something Brown believes will give the side confidence;

"We've definitely performed well against them the past few times we have faced each other. There was a period in my time here where we struggled against them but the last three occasions we have shown that we've got what's required to do well against Warrington.

"We know what we need to do to give ourselves a chance and they are probably aware of where we are at. They are a very talented side and they score more tries than anyone in the Super League - they have an ability to rack up points quickly and better than any other side in the competition. You've got to get a lot of things right to beat Warrington but there's no reason why we shouldn't be able to go out there and make a good account of ourselves.

"Their forwards often lay a very good platform ? the likes of Morley, Carvell, Benny Westwood and Louis Anderson are good players. The reason we have done well against them in the past three occasions is because our forward pack has played well and you need them to be physical. If their forwards get on top then they can really go to town on you."

The claret and gold are deprived the services of International forwards Darrell Griffin, David Faiumu and Shaun Lunt - with Lunt's groin problem confirmed this week as being season-ending.

"Darrell Griffin is missing with a slight injury which we hope will only keep him out this week and we are hoping Dave Faiumu isn't far away. Both teams are in the same boat - we don't want to risk a long-term injury, that's not the smart thing to do. We are in a strong position and obviously Warrington are in a stronger position than us.
"The loss of Shaun is unfortunate, especially when you consider that we lost Keal Carlile so that's our number two and three hookers unavailable. Keal played terrifically well in the friendly games and then against Warrington in Round One so he was looking like he was in for a good year. Any time you a side loses two hookers they are going to be affected in some way but hopefully Robbo (Luke Robinson) will stay healthy for the rest of the year.
